I hosted a dinner party recently, and the theme was "Spanish Nights", in that everything served was from a country that spoke Spanish. There were food and drink from Mexico, Argentina, Spain, and Tex-Mex (ok not quite a country, but still.) It took me about a week of advance preparation and two days of busy kitchen work, but the final result was amazing. Note to self: next time make much less food.
As usual the spicy margaritas were a hit; the charred tomato salsa turned out to be the tastiest of the salsas; and, as expected, the choripan and carnitas were both perfect.
