Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp Spanish paprika
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp dry mustard
- 2 tsp ground fennel seeds
- 2 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 4 boneless rib eyes, New York strip steaks, or filets mignons (12 oz. each)
- Whisk together the dry ingredients in a small bowl until combined.
- Brush steaks on both sides with oil; season liberally with salt and pepper. Rub one side of each steak with 1Tbsp spice mixture.
- Grill steaks, rub side down, until golden brown (3 to 4 minutes). Turn steaks over and grill for 5 to 6 minutes for medium rare.
