I found this in the current issue of Bon Appetit. It's a very easy little dish to put together. With so few ingredients, however, make sure all ingredients are good quality and/or fresh.

- 1 15-ounce can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed, drained
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh Italian parsley
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 small garlic clove, pressed
- 4 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup (packed) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Coarse kosher salt
- Combine chickpeas, basil, parsley, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil in a medium bowl.
- Add Parmesan cheese and mix gently to blend all ingredients thoroughly.
- Season with coarse kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
