Ultimate Gin and Tonic

If you don't enjoy gin and tonics, it's because you have not tried this one. This unique drink -- both in taste and presentation -- attempts to replicate the unique creation of Coquetta, a small oceanside Spanish restaurant in San Francisco. With so few ingredients, it is imperative to use the highest-quality and more flavorful gin and tonic water. Try to get the Mediterranean version of the tonic water. Clear ice cubes work great here.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin, preferably Bloom
  • Tonic water, preferably Fever Tree or Indi
  • Grapefruit wedge
  • Edible flowers

Instructions

  1. Add gin and ice cube(s) to a cocktail glass.
  2. Lightly squeeze in a grapefuit wedge.
  3. Pour in tonic water and stir gently until combined.
  4. Garnish with edible flowers, grapefruit wedge, thyme, currant, or other.

Makes one delicious drink.
