Here is yet another spiced nut recipe that is a great complement for cocktails. I found this in GQ awhile back.

- 1 lb. mixed unsalted nuts
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. crushed red-pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, combine nuts, maple syrup, and olive oil; toss to coat.
- Place in a large cast-iron skillet or rimmed baking tray. Roast in oven until nuts are evenly toasted, about 20 minutes.
- Remove nuts from oven and place in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and toss to coat evenly.
