Maple Spiced Nuts

Here is yet another spiced nut recipe that is a great complement for cocktails. I found this in GQ awhile back.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. mixed unsalted nuts
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. crushed red-pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, combine nuts, maple syrup, and olive oil; toss to coat. 
  2. Place in a large cast-iron skillet or rimmed baking tray. Roast in oven until nuts are evenly toasted, about 20 minutes. 
  3. Remove nuts from oven and place in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and toss to coat evenly.


Serves a lot. Eat.
